An age-hardenable nickel-copper alloy combining Monel 400-type corrosion resistance with higher strength and hardness for shafts, fasteners and oil-and-gas components.

Alloy K-500 adds aluminum and titanium to a nickel-copper base. Controlled aging forms strengthening precipitates, providing substantially higher strength than Alloy 400 while retaining broadly similar corrosion behavior. Condition and heat treatment are essential RFQ details.

Low corrosion rates in high-velocity seawater support pump-shaft and impeller applications.
Annealed, hot-worked, cold-worked and aged conditions produce different properties and machining behavior.

K-500 contains aluminum and titanium and can be age hardened for much higher strength, while retaining broadly similar corrosion resistance.
It is a well-established pump-shaft material in marine service, but shaft design, condition, seawater velocity and mechanical-property requirements must be confirmed.
Age treatment controls strength, hardness, ductility and machinability. The same grade in different conditions is not interchangeable without engineering review.
