Spring performance
Good relaxation resistance for springs and fasteners when the correct condition is specified.
Precipitation-hardenable nickel-chromium alloy
A precipitation-hardenable nickel-chromium alloy used for high strength, oxidation resistance and spring or fastener performance from sub-zero to elevated temperatures.

Alloy X-750 uses titanium, aluminum and niobium additions to develop precipitation-hardened strength. Different heat-treatment schedules are used for springs, fasteners, turbine components and sustained elevated-temperature loading, so the required condition is a central purchasing detail.
Good relaxation resistance for springs and fasteners when the correct condition is specified.
Precipitation treatment develops tensile, creep and rupture capability for loaded components.
Nickel-chromium base supports service in hot gas and thermal-processing environments.

Application areas
Final material selection belongs to the buyer's qualified engineer and must consider temperature, stress, fabrication, corrosion medium and governing code.
Rotor blades, wheels, bolts and structural members.
High-temperature springs, bolts and retaining components.
Thrust chambers, thrust reversers and hot-air ducting.
Heat-treatment fixtures, forming tools, dies and test-machine grips.

Buyer questions
Quick answers for initial sourcing. Confirm critical engineering requirements against the governing specification.
Different treatments produce different spring, tensile, creep and rupture properties. A grade name alone is not enough for an accurate quote.
Yes. It is widely used for springs and fasteners, but temper, aging schedule, dimensions and required mechanical properties must be specified.
Include product form, standard, condition, dimensions, quantity, mechanical-property requirements, testing and destination.
