Alloy 825 is designed for resistance across reducing and oxidizing conditions. Nickel supports resistance to chloride-ion stress-corrosion cracking, molybdenum and copper improve resistance to reducing acids, chromium supports oxidizing resistance, and titanium helps stabilize the alloy against sensitization.
